The greatest barrier to health is the mind. Imagine you are confronted with a wall. You desperately want what is on the other side. What are your options?

1. Climb over the wall. When you try this you find that the wall is just too high to climb over.

2. Go around the wall. When you try this you find that it extends forever and there is no going around it.

3. Break the wall down. When you try this you find that it is impenetrable.

After trying for a while you might take a break. Your MIND might consider other alternatives and/or strategies. You might even use your MIND to “manifest" what is on the other side of the wall. Usually with limited success. Eventually you get right back in the saddle and repeat the same things with the same outcome. This cycle can repeat itself for quite some time before you stop trying to get past the wall. Usually this occurs out of sheer exhaustion. In the process, maybe you stop caring what is on the other side of the wall. With that, the dominant thoughts surrounding the other side of the wall fade away.

One day you wake up and all of a sudden, you realize that you are on the other side of the wall. You don’t know how you got there and it isn’t quite what you expected, but you are there. What now? That damn mind is going to create another wall.

As you can see, most barriers that we create with regard to health (and life) are not real. They are illusory. They are created by the mind. As such, the mind and any strategies that involve the mind won’t help you get rid of them, it will only intensify them. It is like using lighter fluid to put out a fire. That being said, sometimes a wall is put up for a reason. Your mind doesn’t put up this wall, life does. Sometimes life will steer you in the right direction with a wall. In THE WAVE STATE you can discern which walls are illusory and which are in line with the FLOW of life.

Think about which walls you might be creating in your life and then stop thinking about them.
