WAVE EIGHT - THE MAGICAL CARROT SALAD
This recipe alone might help you enter the wave state. Raw carrots contain a type of fiber that can aid in the process of detoxification and can help support optimal digestive health. Many of the commonly recommended forms of fiber lead to bloating and digestive discomfort and can foster the growth of “bad” bacteria in your digestive system. This is not the case with carrots. In addition, this recipe can have favorable impact on your hormones and metabolism by way of keeping estrogen levels in check (many people, men included, have higher than normal levels of estrogen).
• 1 medium carrot, washed, unpeeled, and grated lengthwise.
• A drizzling of melted coconut oil or olive oil
• Pinch of Sea salt
• A splash of vinegar (any type)
• This is best eaten in between meals on an empty stomach.
• If time is an issue you can shred a bunch of carrots in a bowl and store in the refrigerator. Each day you can add a small amount to a bowl and mix in the other ingredients.
• If you don’t have time for the above, eating a raw carrot bugs bunny style can have a similar impact.
• Grated raw beets may be mixed in as well to take this up a notch.
• Best results are achieved by doing this continuously for a period of 4-6 weeks.
