WAVE FIVE - IMPROVED DETOXIFCATION
If you have a broken detoxification system you will have a backup of toxins in your body which will prevent you from entering the wave state. Cleanses and detox programs are all the rage, however, I don’t believe you can cleanse your way to health. Once you get healthy, then there are some benefits to a properly constructed cleanse. More important though is ensuring that all of your bodies natural detox mechanisms are in place. Imagine that, your body has a number of ways to eliminate toxins which you have not even thought about.
Lungs - Breathing is a form of detox. Learn how to breath properly, practice deep breathing, get a HEPA air filter.
Skin - Sweating is a form of detox. Exercise, saunas, steams, infrared saunas (especially if you don’t sweat easily).
Bowel - Going to the bathroom. Daily, but not more than 3 times a day.
Kidneys - Drink enough water so that your urine is light yellow (not so much that it is clear).
Liver - Your liver is arguably the most important when it comes to detox. Support your liver with eggs, beets, broth. Limit alcohol and NSAIDs.
Lymph - Moving pumps your lymphatic system. Massages can help with this as well. Along with hot/cold contrast showers.
Thoughts - Detox your brain from negative thoughts. This is probably the hardest. Any form of stress management that works for YOU.
In addition. it is very important to reduce your toxic load. This means reducing the amount of toxins you are exposed to as the less these mechanisms above have to work the better. Evolution has not had time to catch up to the onslaught of toxins we are exposed to (toxins come in many forms), which means that you need to be extra aware of the things above. Or else these systems can become overloaded. When this happens your health will suffer. Some tips above but I will provide more detail on reducing your toxic load in subsequent posts. Happy detoxing!
