WAVE TEN - LIGHT FROM A STAR
Did you ever consider the fact that we (and all living things) need LIGHT from a star to survive and thrive. If you do not get adequate sunlight you will have a hard time entering the wave state. Yes, sunlight is a critical nutrient as it helps us synthesize vitamin D, it helps regulate our sleep/wake cycles, and it downright just feels good to get out in the sun, even watching the sun rise and set is good for your health. You see, humans were designed to spend most of their days outdoors (not just weekends). Unfortunately, this rarely occurs in this day and age and so people are very sensitive to the sun because they spend very little time in it. Of course you want to be smart about your sun exposure and you should increase your exposure slowly. Also, respect your individuality, if you are naturally dark skinned you will need more sunlight that someone with fair skin. For those of you that live in regions where it is cold and often grey in winter months, the summer is particularly important for you to build up your reserves and it may be helpful to take Vitamin D3 (with K2) and to possibly experiment with red light therapy. People with darker skin should know that in winter months they are particularly at risk for seasonal disorders. One other note, if you wash your skin in the 48 hours post sun exposure you can interfere with the Vitamin D that your body synthesized while out in the sun. So wash only the areas that you need to. How good do you feel and sleep when you spend a day at the beach or a day out in nature under the sun.
